If you see a "File not found" or "page can not be found" on the home page of a wordpress install, check the following:
- Login to wordpress admin
- Go to General -> Settings
- Check the "homepage" setting has a post / page selected within it.
- If none is selected, then select your home page post / page.
- Save settings and check home page.
