Installing Wordpress via Directadmin is a straightforward process. The following instructions will guide you on how to install it.
- Login to your DirectAdmin account - this is usually easiest by going to our billing system and using the "Login to Directadmin" button under the service details page.
- Once in Directadmin, go to the "Advanced Features" menu
- Under the Advanced Features menu, click "Wordpress Manager"
- The Wordpress manager page will list supported installation locations - mostly domains and sub domains
- Click the "Install" button for the location you want to install Wordpress at
- Enter the Site's title in to the title field
- Enter the email address for the administrator account that will automatically be created
- Enter the admin username and password and keep both in your records
- Click the "Create" button and the manager will install Wordpress using those settings.
Once the Wordpress install has completed, visiting the site should show the default Wordpress "Just another wordpress" page.
Logging in to the Wordpress install:
Add "/wp-login.php" to your domain's URL for the login page. For example, if your domain is "example.com", then you would use https://example.com/wp-login.php . On the login, enter the username and password you entered above.
